Enam

An Art Collective

Enam is a concentrated focus to offer artisans from all backgrounds, expertise, and crafts a foothold into mainstream acknowledgment. Giving them a platform where their art is not just widely appreciated but is also well rewarded.

Art defines culture. Culture defines a region. A region redefines art.

Art is open, subjective, and debatable. It is understood as any activity or product with a purpose to communicate an emotion, a feeling, or an expression or more generally, a world view. Enam strives to reach the faces behind the passion of art. When we look at a painting, we wonder about its artist. When we admire a beautiful composition, we pay tribute to the musician. Not all art forms offer their makers such recognition. When we admire the incredible symmetry of the pillars at the Madurai Meenakshi Temple, we don’t know the hundreds of hands and talent that painfully crafted it. When we wear a beautiful saree and receive appreciation, no one acknowledges the weaver’s intricate work.

We work with artists from across the country and the world. Art has a rare capacity to encourage, heal, and empower. Inam works to bring the transformative power of art to every stratum of society. We aim to be a catalyst that benefits the community as a whole through art.
